ABOUT
Distinction Beyond The Product
The box arrives before the tote does. It tells a story: someone selected this. Someone thought of this. That's not a detail—it's the beginning of the relationship between you and the object. The unboxing experience is part of what makes a Casali tote yours, not just something you boughtShop Now
Our Commitment To Quality
At Casali Wine Totes, we take pride in the quality of our products and stand behind each and every one of our wine totes. We know that a good wine tote should last for years to come, which is why we only use the best materials and craftsmanship in the construction of our bags.
Each of our totes is handmade by leather artisans with years of experience in leatherworking. All totes are fully inspected before they are packed for shipping and have a 100% replacement guarantee for any reason.
Our Manufacturing Partner
Casali wine totes are designed and created by me — but they're brought to life by the hands of a partner I chose with great care. When I set out to build this brand, I wasn't looking for a factory. I was looking for someone who cared about craft the way I do, and I found her in Adinda Sheila, a woman-owned leathermaker who built her business from nothing — no inheritance, no shortcut — armed with a vast education and a single conviction: that Indonesian craftsmanship belongs on the world stage. What began in one small room now creates leather goods for brands around the globe. Every Casali wine tote is handcrafted by her artisans, and I couldn't be prouder of the hands it comes from.
Why Adinda, That decision wasn't made lightly. Over the years I've researched leather manufacturers across the world — in Italy, Spain, France, and Mexico — and through all of those years of trial and refinement, none of them matched her. I chose Adinda because hers is a woman-owned company I believe in, because the quality of her leather goods is simply absolute, and because of the devoted attention she gives the Casali brand — a level of care I never found anywhere else. For craftsmanship and dedication alike, her Indonesian workshop has surpassed every other country I've examined.
I didn't set out to design a wine tote. I set out to find one — and when I couldn't, I understood why it didn't exist yet. Creating something truly worthy of the moment it's meant for, is hard. It demands a different kind of commitment — the kind that doesn't stop at "good enough."
My name is Joseph Casali. I'm an industrial designer, an inventor, and a third-generation Italian-American raised in a household where Sunday dinner was sacred and nothing worth doing was worth doing halfway. In my family, work wasn't just a means to an end — it was an expression of who you are. You took pride in the craft. You didn't cut corners. And you never put your name on something you weren't prepared to stand behind completely.
That ethic lives in every Casali wine tote.
The Creative Process Is Not a Straight Line
Every piece in the Casali collection is the result of a journey — through materials, through form, through the quiet pursuit of something that feels right rather than just finished. I've spent my career designing and manufacturing products, and what I've learned is that great design doesn't announce itself. It reveals itself slowly — in the way something sits in your hand, the way the leather ages with you, the way it earns its place in someone's life.
Full-grain leather. Hand-selected hardware. Proportions refined through iteration after iteration. These aren't marketing words. They're the residue of a process I genuinely love — and one I refuse to rush.
Why This. Why Now.
Life has a way of clarifying what matters. Mine has reinforced something I already believed: that the moments we share — a dinner, a celebration, an arrival — deserve to be honored with real care. A bottle of wine carried in a Casali tote isn't just a gift. It's a statement about how you see the occasion and the person you're bringing it to.
That's the brand I built. Not for volume. Not for everyone. For the person who knows the difference — and cares about it.
